This was a design and construct project that transformed an original 1980's home. Client involvement during the design process allowed Ambient to capitalise on the location, the aspect and the outlook over the local waterways, whilst achieving all the 'must haves' of the renovation.
The result was oversized bedrooms, multiple ensuites and two living areas, providing the family with privacy without the need for closed doors. The upper floor sees an open plan kitchen/living/dining area that opens onto a wraparound balcony with oversized windows capturing the water views from multiple angles. A less formal entertaining area on the lower level incorporates a kitchenette/wet bar for a fit-for-purpose party room.
In the second build stage a free standing double garage structure was built to provide plenty of room for parking and storage.
